The Joomla! website has had a face lift. The new look is very clean and dare I say it Web 2.0ish.
It's basically using the frontpage as a portal for the huge Joomla website and I suspect it's geared more towards 'new visitors'. It looks very appealing - it would just be nice if they updated it all at the same time, however I expect that is coming and it's really the content that matters.
Just for your information, if you're thinking about using a content management system, Joomla is growing at a steady pace and as far as content management systems go it's very advanced, in terms of scope for development and features readily available, but also extremely easy to use.
The best thing about Joomla though is the community. If you need help they're on hand to assist and after a while you may even turn out to be one of those people that actually do the assisting; such is the buzz around the entire project.
